Look for FMAA certification. The Flag Manufacturers Association of America's certification seal is the most reliable proof of genuine domestic production. It should be a serialized tag attached to the flag itself — not just a claim in the product title or description. If there's no FMAA tag on the physical flag, the "Made in USA" claim is unverified.

Check the seller, not just the listing. On major marketplaces, the product title may say "Made in USA" while the actual seller is a third-party overseas vendor. The FTC has documented this exact pattern. Buying directly from a U.S.-based flag retailer — rather than through a marketplace listing — eliminates that risk entirely.

Check the price. A genuine American-made flag with U.S.-sourced materials and U.S. labor costs more to produce than an imported flag. U.S.-sourced nylon or polyester fabric. Our nylon flags use premium 200-denier nylon. Our polyester flags use heavy 2-ply spun polyester. Both are sourced domestically and woven to a quality standard that imported fabric simply doesn't meet.

UV-resistant, colorfast dyes. The reds, whites, and blues in our flags are dyed to resist fading from direct sun exposure. The colors you see on day one hold up through months of daily flying — unlike the cheap dyes in imported flags that fade to pink and gray within a season.

Four-row lock-stitched fly end. The fly end — the edge that whips in the wind — is reinforced with a double-fold hem and four rows of lock stitching. This is the part of the flag that fails first on cheap imports. We build it to last.

Heavy canvas header. The hoist-side canvas strip is substantial and reinforced — not the thin nylon webbing used in budget flags. It holds its shape, protects the grommets from tearing through, and maintains a clean presentation over time.
