FAQ

Should I choose nylon or polyester? Nylon is lightweight and flies in a light breeze—great for most homes. Polyester is heavier and more durable for windy, coastal, or high-UV locations.

What size flag fits my pole? 3' × 5' fits 15–20' poles (most homes). Go 4' × 6' for more presence on 20–25' poles, and 5' × 8' for 25' commercial poles.

Do you offer indoor presentation flags? Yes—most state flags are available with a pole sleeve and optional gold fringe. Pair with an indoor stand, pole, and spear topper.

Are the flags Made in the USA? Yes—all of our state flags are Made in the USA.

How long will my outdoor flag last? Lifespan depends on wind, sun, and exposure. Polyester generally outlasts nylon in harsh/windy sites. Rotate a spare and bring flags down during severe weather to extend life.

How do I care for my flag? Wash with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and air-dry. Avoid harsh chemicals/bleach. Trim loose threads and replace before heavy fraying reaches the field.

What’s the correct order when flying multiple flags? In the U.S., the American flag takes the place of honor (highest/center). State flags are secondary and should never be flown above the U.S. flag.

Can I fly a state flag at half-staff? Yes—state flags should follow the U.S. flag position (half-staff when the U.S. flag is at half-staff).

Do you accept bulk or purchase orders? Yes—schools, governments, and organizations can request quotes; volume pricing is available.

Can I return or exchange? Unused items in original condition can typically be returned/exchanged within the posted window. See our Returns policy page for details.
