US Coast Guard Flags

US Space Force Flags
The Space Force flag features a black field with the delta emblem representing space and aerospace power, incorporating a globe, orbit path, and Polaris. Available in outdoor nylon and indoor presentation sets. Shop Space Force flags β
Military Flags for Veterans and Military Families
For veterans and military families, flying a branch flag is one of the most direct expressions of service and pride. A veteran flag display at home β the branch flag on the same pole below the American flag, or in a presentation set inside β honors the branch a service member served under and the years they gave to it. We carry branch flags for all six services in the materials and sizes that work for residential display, and our indoor presentation sets are built for the living rooms, offices, and dens where service is remembered every day. If you're buying a flag to honor a veteran, the branch they served under is the right starting point. Shop military flags for veterans β
Military Flag Order of Precedence
When flying multiple branch flags together, the correct order of precedence from left to right (from the flags' perspective) is: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard. This sequence reflects each branch's historical seniority and is the standard for government buildings, ceremonies, campus installations, and veteran organization posts. One exception: when the Coast Guard is operating as part of the Department of the Navy, it moves ahead of the Air Force in the sequence.
The American flag always holds the position of honor β highest on the same pole, or on the far right from the flags' perspective when multiple poles are used. The POW/MIA flag flies directly below the American flag on the same halyard, or in the next position of honor on separate poles. For a complete guide to arranging US, state, military, and international flags for any setting, see our Flag Order of Precedence guide.
Displaying All Six Branches Together
The standard configuration for a complete military display β government lobbies, chapels, VFW and American Legion halls, school auditoriums, and campus installations β is all six branch flags in order of precedence alongside the American flag. Our military flag presentation sets are available for every branch, and our flag experts can help you spec a matched set for your space including pole height, finial style, and fringe finish. For outdoor multi-pole displays, we can advise on sizing across all six branches to keep proportions consistent. Contact us or call 800-321-3524 for help sizing a complete display.
Military Presentation Sets
For formal indoor display, our military flag presentation sets include the branch flag, pole, base, and ornament β everything needed for a complete two-flag display alongside the American flag. Sets are available for all six branches and are the standard choice for government offices, chapels, auditoriums, VFW posts, American Legion halls, ROTC programs, and schools. Shop military presentation sets β
POW/MIA Flags
No military flag display is complete without the POW/MIA flag. It is the only flag besides the American flag authorized to fly over the US Capitol, and it holds a place of honor at every veterans' organization, government building, and military installation in the country. We carry the POW/MIA flag in outdoor nylon, outdoor polyester, and indoor with pole hem and fringe. Shop POW/MIA flags β
Official Military Flags Made in the USA
Every military branch flag at Tidmore Flags is made in the USA and produced to official US Government design specifications β not novelty items or decorative approximations. Select models carry FMAA certification to confirm Made in USA construction. When you buy a military branch flag from Tidmore, you're buying the same official flag design that flies at bases, government buildings, and veteran organizations across the country. We've been making that promise since 1963. Shop official military flags β
Nylon or Polyester β Which Military Flag Is Right for You?
For most homes, storefronts, schools, and inland locations, outdoor nylon military flags are the right choice. Nylon is lightweight, quick-drying, and flies easily in a light breeze β it's the most popular material for everyday residential and institutional display. For locations subject to sustained wind, open exposure, or coastal conditions β base perimeters, hilltop poles, waterfront properties, and open commercial sites β 2-ply polyester military flags handle the conditions significantly better and will outlast nylon in demanding environments. When in doubt, use our Flag Life Calculator to estimate how long a flag will last at your specific location.
What Size Military Flag Should I Buy?
For a 20-foot pole, a 3x5 ft flag is standard for any branch. For poles 25 feet and taller, a 4x6 ft flag provides better proportion and visibility. When flying a branch flag on the same pole as the American flag, choose the branch flag one size smaller to keep the American flag in the position of visual honor. Use our Flag Size Calculator for an instant recommendation based on your pole height.
| Flag Size | Recommended Pole Height | Best Use |
|---|---|---|
| 2' Γ 3' | 10'β15' | Small porches, wall mounts, desk displays |
